Munisha Gandhi is a Senior Advocate, designated as such by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana in 2014. She has over 28 years of experience in corporate law, insolvency resolution, and commercial litigation, and practises across the Supreme Court, High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, and other tribunals.
From 2012 to 2017, she served as Additional Advocate General for the State of Punjab, representing the state government in matters of constitutional and administrative significance. She has also served as Amicus Curiae before the High Court in matters involving women’s rights, child welfare, and environmental protection.
Her practice focuses on corporate restructuring and insolvency proceedings before the NCLT and NCLAT. She regularly handles matters involving protection of minority shareholder interests, disputes between promoter groups, and corporate governance challenges. She has been involved in several landmark judgments concerning corporate restructuring, constitutional rights, and administrative law.
Her chambers, established in 1995, maintain a practice that covers corporate law, insolvency resolution, and regulatory compliance. She is the daughter of Padma Vibhushan Justice Dr. Adarsh Sein Anand, former Chief Justice of India (1998 to 2001) and Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (2002 to 2006).
